Successfully sought and received $800,000 of funding from Legislature.
Successfully wrote grants, awards totaled over $119,000.
Received the coveted NW Minnesota Foundation’s “Project Excellence” award for FARM WRAP® modeled after flood recovery.
FLOOD RECOVERY COORDINATOR of the Northwest Regional Development Commission, Warren, MN. July 1997-June 1999.

Led the development of “Project Farm Wrap,” designed to create teams to reach out to provide comprehensive service to farm families in distress.

Led the development of the “Last Hurrah,” designed to find and help the last flood victims through new work crews similar to “Sentence to Serve” funded by the American Red Cross $90,000.
